Parker Pond in the Fall
Photos    Getting There

Launch from Parker Pond Gun Shop's boat launch onto Parker Pond for a peaceful experience along this small water body in the rural Town of Cato. Parker Pond has a surface area of 0.288 square miles, a 2.27-mile shoreline and an average depth of 6.6 feet. The pond's outlet is Muskrat Creek which flows south approximately 7 miles and terminates at the Seneca River.

Parker Pond is surrounded mostly by privately owned forested wetland. The County owns a small parcel of land on the western edge of the pond which connects into the Cayuga County Trail System. The pond is teeming with a wide variety of fish and wildlife, including northern pike, large- and small-mouth bass, bullhead, beaver, turtles, and canadian geese.

Parker Pond Gun Shop offers public access to the pond for a small fee. Restroom facilities are not available. Call 315-626-2605 for more information.
