Launch from Leisure Acres' boat launch onto the Lake for a peaceful experience along this small water body in the rural Town of Cato. Otter Lake has a surface area of 0.43 square miles, a 3.45-mile shoreline and an average depth of 8 feet. The Lake drains into Parker Pond through extensive wetlands to the North. It is almost completely surrounded by wooded wetlands. The NYS DEC continues to stock Otter Lake (and has for several decades) with Walleye fry. In the year 2000, the DEC stocked the Lake with 1,300,000 Walleye Fry.
